Dear Mother, –

We are here for a week’s vacation and have Eva Persson Rapp with us.  Have been too busy to write.  Uncle Julius & wife spent two weeks with us in San Diego and when they were gone we hurried up here.  Guy drove the car and we have a tent and camp here.  I will write when I get more time.  We will leave here tomorrow for Turlock.

Love – Hemmie, Guy & Lloydine.

Post Card:  Face – YOSEMITE NATIONAL PARK.  MIRROR LAKE AND MOUNT WATKINS, YOSEMITE VALLEY.  Postmark – Camp Curry, Calif.  Text – MIRROR LAKE.  At the mouth of Tenaya Canyon we come to Mirror Lake, an expansion of Tenaya Creek.  When the sun creeps over the great wall of the South Dome, the whole wild landscape is wonderfully reproduced in this marvelous mirror.

Next HNB Letter – October 9, 1929.

[1929.06.30 / day – HNB to CWE in Lasita, Kansas.]
